Rare Triumphs is an alternative old-style tarot deck drawing on variant images and themes and ideas from the early history of tarot.
Rare Triumphs is a full 78 card tarot deck that is an expanded version of the Pike and Clover playing cards with the addition of knights and the trump suit. The cards are drawn in the Marseille style, but the suits are the playing card suits of clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades. The court cards are styled after the court cards of standard English playing cards. The trump suit uses non-Marseille imagery, mainly based on alternative representations from early tarot.
Ace, Queen, Love and Fortune
This is the second edition of Rare Triumphs. Poker-size cards printed in 2026 in the UK on smooth-finish black-core playing-card board. 78-card deck plus 4 extra cards. Fully custom artwork on every card, with a two-way borderless back design. The cards are delivered in a custom-printed tuck box. A printed sheet of 22 verses is also included in the box.
